Zaparena Not a Traffic Exchange But A Traffic Network- A Huge Difference.

Well here is what I learned regarding Zaparena. It is not a traffic exchange but it can give your site huge real targeted traffic.
On my first post I wrongly termed it as a traffic exchange. You see a traffic exchange requires you to click on members sites to earn enough points and after that they will click yours. Zaparena is different. There's no requirement like that in Zaparena. So we don't need to worry about google penalizing our adsense account.

You may try to search if any user of Zaparena had their adsense account penalize by google, but you will not find even one. What you'll find are webmasters who are very contented and happy with it.

Want to try Zaparena and know more about it? click here.

By the way for more info about googles adsense TOS please read this:

From google >program policies explained>traffic sources

Can I use traffic exchange programs?

While traffic exchange services may help bring traffic to your site, we don't recommend using them, as they may lead to invalid clicks or impressions and result in your account being disabled.

As you may already know, our program policies strictly prohibit any means of artificially generating ad impressions or clicks, including third-party services such as paid-to-click, paid-to-surf, auto-surf, and click-exchange programs. These programs offer incentives for users to view webpages or click on ads, resulting in activity that is harmful to our advertisers.

We also advise against using third-party tools or services to increase your site traffic, as they may also result in similar invalid activity and your account being disabled. We realize that you may have questions about a specific service and whether it could potentially create invalid impressions or clicks. However, please understand that we're unable to comment on any particular third-party service.
--------------------
So that being said, no one actually knows how Google feels about anything.
But here's what I found. A comment from no other than Zaparena founder himself. From Sire website.

Thanks for this awesome post. I’m very happy to see webmasters understanding and liking our service. First of all I want to confirm that we don’t know even one webmaster who lost his AdSense account because of using zaparena.

The Google article was published in 2007 ( http://adsense.blogspot.com/2007/04/note-on-traffic-exchange-programs.html ) and traffic networks appeared in 2009 / 2010. So Google obviously had other services in mind when they published this article. In my opinion it’s a wording problem, we call our service traffic network and not traffic exchange. And as Sire rightly pointed out there is a huge difference. Please search for traffic exchange and you will see…

In fact zaparena is a content discovery network and you can see it as an advertising campaign for your website: http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1059038

Each visitor willingly clicks on the content that they are interested in like on a banner. A click redirects the visitor to a landing page on zaparena containing a preview of the content and other related teasers. In average a user will click on two teasers… now you know why we are able to guarantee a minimum ratio. Our job is to balance the ratio in a fair way. One the one hand teasers of websites with a low ratio are shown more often in the widgets and on the other hand these webmasters can add more teasers too. So we are able to send them more traffic than other websites with less traffic.

So that's it for now. Hope you enjoy Zaparena images and text content!

How to Make Firefox Load Website Faster

Many times the problem of loading webpages is not because of your internet connection but because of your browsers configuration.

Here are some tweaks that are tested by me of course!

Open up your firefox and in the address bar you need to type about:config and then hit the enter key. You'll enter a page with precautionary details regarding the firefox license. Read it if you want but hit on continue or enter the next page. On the next page here's what you need to do:

      1.  Find network.http.pipelining.maxrequests  Double click this and under Preference Name change the number 4 to somewhere in between 10 to 40. You can try ten or fifteen. Mine is ten.
      2.  Find network.http.proxy.pipelining
Double click this line and the value will change from false to true.
      3.  Find network.dns.disableIPv6
Double click to change it from false to true.
      4.   Find plugin.expose_full_pat
Double click and change the value from false to true.
      5.   Find network.http.pipelining
Double click to change it from false to true.
      6.   Now right click on the line on the page  and then select New and click Integer. You are going to create a new Preference Name. In the Integer box  type nglayout.initialpaint.delay click ok and on the Integer box type O -that's zero.
      7.   Follow the number 6 directions and create another one and put ui.submenuDelay Type O -that's zero as the value.
      8.   Follow number 6 directions for the last time and  create another new integer content.backoffaccount then put the number 5 as the value.

Now it's time to close your browser and restart. And you'll notice firefox is loading webpages much faster than before.

If for any reason you are not satisfied and are experiencing browser problems, don't worry. It is totally reversible. Just follow the same steps and revert to the original settings. But I think you'll be satisfied.

The Flag Counter for your site traffic

Another fast, fun, reliable traffic source is to have a flag counter on your website or blog. There are lots of sites that offer free counter but I will list just two most reliable.

  1. Flagcounter.com - you can create a free flag counter which will track down all the visits to your site. You can choose from flag map or top countries or U.S. flags. You can customize the size and background color. And what's great with this site is that it has a forum where you can ask or even beg others to visit your site. You can also exchange links. I have a flagcounter on this blog at the lower right hand side.
  2. Revolvermaps.com- this works like the flagcounter but it's on 3d. That's the revolving globe that you see on this blog. It doesn't have a forum though like the flagcounter where you can ask any member to visit your site.
Both of these counters if clicked will reveal interesting info and charts.
Check the sample site where you can see the flagcounter at work: Just Thinking site.

How to Increase Traffic to Your Website

Increasing traffic is one of the main concerns of webmasters and bloggers. Some blog for pleasure, others blog for money while others blog for both. Whatever your purpose is I have some advise for a starter like you.

  1. Take part in discussions and open groups in social networking sites where it is easy to look for people all over the world. Facebook and Twitter etc.
  2. Have a genuine interest to other blog posts and leave your comment and web link. Don't just say "nice blog". Leave a comment with substance. You can even create friends.
  3. Google for traffic exchanges. It can generate a lot of traffic. According to wikipediatraffic exchange is a type of website which provides a service for webmasters in exchange for traffic.
  4. Try this new marketing channel, a traffic exchange: This is what they say in their site. I just copy paste it. Here it goes:         A new marketing channel for website owners (publishers) with which you can increase traffic to your website free and with no extra work. Publishers integrate a widget on their websites through which news / contents of the participating web pages are presented. If a visitor is interested in a news item viewed in a widget he is sent to the respective page. Via the widget integrated in your website you will receive 200-250% more visitors in return than are sent on to the host website. Thanks to this effective concept you can expand your potential market free of charge and gain greater independence from search engines and expensive advertising campaigns.
Is it free? Absolutely. You can even generate additional revenue and monetize your website.

Is it compatible with google adsense? Yes it is. Nothing to worry about your other ads.

          Tips for registration:

  • Sites with sexual, pornographic or unlawful content are not permitted.
  • Your website/blog should be updated regularly and have at least 1000 visitors per month. ( But     you don't have to worry. If you have 400 visitors since you started the blog then they will accept your registration. If you're just starting and doesn't have that number of visitors they will check the website and if the contents are good they will approve it. If you don't know the number of visitors, just put an estimate of 400. Try it. It's free and you have nothing to lose.)
