Many times the problem of loading webpages is not because of your internet connection but because of your browsers configuration.
Here are some tweaks that are tested by me of course!
Open up your firefox and in the address bar you need to type about:config and then hit the enter key. You'll enter a page with precautionary details regarding the firefox license. Read it if you want but hit on continue or enter the next page. On the next page here's what you need to do:
1. Find network.http.pipelining.maxrequests Double click this and under Preference Name change the number 4 to somewhere in between 10 to 40. You can try ten or fifteen. Mine is ten.
2. Find network.http.proxy.pipelining
Double click this line and the value will change from false to true.
3. Find network.dns.disableIPv6
Double click to change it from false to true.
4. Find plugin.expose_full_pat
Double click and change the value from false to true.
5. Find network.http.pipelining
Double click to change it from false to true.
6. Now right click on the line on the page and then select New and click Integer. You are going to create a new Preference Name. In the Integer box type nglayout.initialpaint.delay click ok and on the Integer box type O -that's zero.
7. Follow the number 6 directions and create another one and put ui.submenuDelay Type O -that's zero as the value.
8. Follow number 6 directions for the last time and create another new integer content.backoffaccount then put the number 5 as the value.
Now it's time to close your browser and restart. And you'll notice firefox is loading webpages much faster than before.
If for any reason you are not satisfied and are experiencing browser problems, don't worry. It is totally reversible. Just follow the same steps and revert to the original settings. But I think you'll be satisfied.
